Proceeds benefit emergency tuition assistance scholarships for students in the Archdiocese’s Catholic schools as well as academic innovation. Emergency tuition assistance provides scholarships to economically challenged students, enabling them to continue their pursuit of academic excellence through Catholic education. Academic innovation includes updated classroom technology and equipment, dual language immersion, and resources to serve students with defined learning needs.

The Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic schools serve more than 76,000 students in 214 schools. It is one of the largest private school systems in the United States and is the recipient of the greatest number of U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Awards of any school system—public or private. Chicago’s Catholic schools graduate over 98 percent of students and over 96 percent go on to attend colleges and universities.

Thank you for your support of the 2017 Fore the Kids golf outing!

We were blessed with a beautiful day, as 140 golfers joined us to raise more than $90,000 to benefit the Emergency Tuition Assistance Fund and the Office of Catholic Schools.  We are thankful to all of our event sponsors: the estate of Bernard Beazley, Jim and Molly Perry, FACTS Tuition Management, Catholic Cemeteries, AArete, COTG-A Xerox Company, Celtic Environmental, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., and PNC Bank.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. We are grateful for your continued support of our students and schools.

The Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago provide top-notch academic programs rooted in Christ. We welcome over 76,000 students every day, educating them in environments of compassion and care. Our schools have received more Blue Ribbon Awards from the US Department of Education than any other district (private or public) in the country.
