Creating a Will Workshop Seminars
Major gift officers recently hosted a series of Creating a Will workshops. These seminars brought lawyers, parishioners, priests and business managers together to discuss the need for wills and planning for the distribution of assets.
“The Creating a Will workshop was informative, engaging and well-received by parishioners. The length of the seminar was perfect and we all received useful handouts containing pertinent information. As a business manager, I appreciated how easy it was to work with the Office of Stewardship and Development to prepare for the meeting and promote it using their concise messaging for the event.”
— Laura Angelini, St. Francis de Sales, business manager
“Our parishioners were very positive toward the wills seminar. It helped them identify areas they needed to address, and also planted the idea of leaving something to the Church in their will.”
— Fr. Jay Finno, St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr pastor
“Defining the client’s personal sense of legacy is key to a meaningful estate plan. Educating the client about the most effective means to transfer wealth to loved ones and charities during life and at death empowers the client to create a legacy which survives the test of time.”
— Christopher Floss, presenter and parishioner, Holy Name Cathedral
